Commencement Ceremony Details
Doors to the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts will open at 1:00 p.m. for guests to arrive.
The student processional will begin at 1:55 p.m. followed immediately by the faculty processional, the ceremony will start promptly at 2:00 pm (EST) and is estimated to conclude at 4:00pm (EST)
No smoking, food, or drinks are allowed in the theater.
Ticketing
Tickets will be issued directly to the graduates at rehearsal unless requested otherwise by the graduate in advance. Each graduate will be provided with 10 tickets, any additional tickets will need to be obtained from classmates.
At the Phillips Center, every patron over 2 years old must have a ticket for admission to the College of Veterinary Medicine Professional Coating Ceremony. Child-in-lap seating is approved for children 2 and under, accompanied by an adult: meaning that the 2-and-under child will remain seated placed in the lap of their accompanying adult through the entire event.
Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Seats may not be held or reserved.
Accessible Seating requests: please speak with a venue usher upon arrival, it is recommended to arrive early for these requests.
