Clinical Skills Lab
During third-year of clinical rotations, veterinary medical students need to be thoroughly familiar with the clinical skills that will be required of them in each service rotation.
Clinical Skills provides first and second-year students with an opportunity to gain valuable experience in communicating with veterinary professionals, conducting mock cases and team collaboration. Under the supervision of clinical instructors and a certified veterinary technician, students gain hands-on experience by performing animal care and treatment, including a host of necessary skills and procedures such as basic and advanced cardiac life support, medical interviewing, diagnosing, and more!
After completing this course, students will be fully prepared to take on challenges in animal hospitals and clinics.
