Clinical Skills Lab
In the clinical rotations, third year veterinary students need to be thoroughly familiar with the clinical skills that will be required of them in that capacity.
The Clinical Skills Lab provides first and second year students with an opportunity to gain valuable experience in communicating with veterinary professionals, conducting mock cases and team collaboration. Under the supervision of trained clinical faculty in a safe environment, students gain hands-on experience by performing animal care and treatment, including a host of necessary skills and procedures such as basic and advanced cardiac life support, medical interviewing, diagnosing, and more. After participating in this lab, students will be fully prepared to take on the challenges in animal hospitals and clinics.
