Plan a Visit
Middle/High School Students
If you have middle or high school students, we invite you to attend our Annual Open House on April 11, 2015. This event is the ideal opportunity for individuals not yet ready to apply to vet school to visit the facilities, tour our hospitals, meet students and faculty, and view live demonstrations. Open House is friendly for all ages and free to attend – no reservations required!
You may also want to visit the University of Florida main campus. Tours of the main campus can be scheduled here, and are ideal for middle and high school students. A UF Tour mobile app is also now available for free in the App Store and Google Play.
Additionally, high school students may be interested in participating in the Gator for a Day program, which will provide high school seniors with the opportunity to shadow an undergraduate student completing coursework at the University of Florida.
While our Annual Open House is a great opportunity for prospective students to visit, this event is only offered once each year. We also provide pre-veterinary advising sessions and tours for prospective students on a monthly basis. These opportunities are targeted toward adult prospective students planning to apply in upcoming cycles. Please complete the form below and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that spaces are limited.
- For safety purposes, children under 12 are not permitted in the hospitals. Please plan accordingly.
- We welcome you to take photos in front of our buildings, but please keep all photography devices stowed during the tour. Photography is not permitted inside the hospital.
- All tours and information sessions are subject to availability and limited in size. After completing a request form, we will send a follow-up email to confirm the date and details of your tour.
Please Note: Your tour has not yet been booked. This form is a request. You will receive an email to confirm the details of your visit. Thank you!
